The Green River is known as one of North America's single best fly fishing locations, particularly as a tailwater fishery. Quality species like browns, rainbows, cutthroats, cut-bow hybrid trout and more can all be found here, in addition to the fantastic scenery that surrounds it. It's no wonder that this river has been ranked among the top ten trout streams in the world by many experts.
Moreover, with between 8,000 and 22,000 fish per mile between the dam and Red Creek Rapids, the Green River is a true paradise for fly fishing enthusiasts. The clear, cold water of the river allows for year-round angling, making it an ideal destination for any time of year.

At Flaming Gorge Resort, we offer guided fishing trips on the Green River, with nearly 40 years of experience. Our full-day trips include everything from transportation to the river to lunch and experienced Utah fly fishing guides, ensuring that you have everything you need for a successful day on the water.
Our half-day trips are perfect for those who want to experience fly fishing on the Green River but may be limited on time. With our skilled guides leading the way, you can still catch plenty of fish and enjoy the beauty of the river in just a few hours.
Policies
Cancellation Policy: for guide reservations of 1 or 2 boats we require 7 days notice of cancellation. Less than 7 days notice you will be charged the first days rate of each boat. If more than 7 days notice is given there will no cancellation charge. For reservations of 3 or more guides, we require 14 days notice of cancellation. Less than 14 days notice, you will be charged the 1st days rate of each boat. If more than 14 days notice there will be no cancellation charge.
No-Show Policy: No- shows will be charged 100% of the total reservation.
Taxes: Applicable taxes subject to change without notice.
Fly Shop & Raft Rentals
For all your fly fishing needs, look no further than our fully-stocked Fly and Tackle Shop. We have everything you need for a successful day on the river, including flies, tackle, rods, and reels. Our knowledgeable staff can also offer advice on what gear to use for specific types of fish or water conditions.
For those who prefer to explore the river on their own, we also offer raft and boat rentals. Our fleet of drift boats, rafts, and inflatable kayaks are available for half-day or full-day rentals, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the Green River at your own pace.
